I have lived at Kallisto at Bear Creek for 3 years now, and I have had a great experience living here. I love the easy access to the Bear Creek trail, and the close proximity to the mountains, Red Rocks, and many hiking trails. In addition to its location, the grounds are beautiful, the amenities are gorgeous (the gym here is great) and there are 2 pools, one open year round. Maintenance has been super great anytime i need them, and the office staff has always been super nice and helpful anytime i have called or gone to the office. In my personal opinion this is a great place to live and I’m grateful that I chose this complex over the many other places I was looking at when I moved.

My husband and I have lived here almost 5 years now and we love it. It's in a great location with Bear Creek Lake close by, and it's also in a quiet nice neighborhood with lovely paths by the green belt and fox hollow golf course. It's very pet friendly as well, they even had a "pool pawty" just recently for the dogs of Kallisto. They also do fun stuff and contests especially around the holidays for the community to enjoy. All the Kallisto staff is friendly and helpful too! I would recommend living here for sure, especially in the townhouses area, reminds me of Pleasantville.

Came in for a tour months ahead of time and the team has been so incredibly helpful and responsive with any questions I had. Natalie was so insightful throughout the tour and I can’t wait to work with her and her the rest of her team in 2025! The property is absolutely gorgeous and quiet and the floor plans we saw were super up spacious with all the amenities you’ll need. The 2 pools were a huge bonus and the direct access to the trail is heavenly. Can’t wait to make Kallisto my next home for sure!

So far, we have lived here 6 months and this by far has been the best apartment community we have lived in. The office is always attentive to your needs right away and the mantience crew is super nice and has nice manners. There are some loose dogs around which is not managements fault but is much more inforced than our last apartments which our traumatized dog and I appreciate since we were attacked last year at our last apt last fall and they didnt care. The second pool is still closed as of mid June 24 which is a bummer but the fitness center is very nice!! Parking can be hassle due to so many covered parking spots but you can usually get a spot in your apt lot so no biggie. Bear Creek trail so close is such a plus!! Theres so much wildlife and pretty plants. I wish the comminity garden was cleaned up though and I would help!! 4.5 for sure. Def reccomend Kallisto at Bear Creek :)

Overall, I really like living here! My apartment is beautiful and I love the location. The cam charges are kinda expensive, but the amenities are well worth it. I love the year round pool and dog park! Any maintenance issues are usually worked out pretty quickly and all the maintenance guys are respectful. Parking is a bit of a hassle at night. The only thing I'd say is there's a couple people in the leasing office that are less than helpful. The red headed lady seems to hate her job and always cops an attitude whenever I need something. Multiple times I've been snapped at by her. That's really my biggest gripe. I pay a lot of money to live here, so I don't appreciate being disrespected. However, the manager Christina is amazing and always helpful, so if you need anything just go straight to her. That being said, apartment living here is wonderful and I have very few complaints.

I really really liked living here for the most part. The location was awesome, my unit was spacious, maintenance took care of things very quickly, the community it's self is always clean and well kept, and the office staff ended up being extremely helpful when I needed worth through getting away from an incredibly toxic and abusive roommate situation. My roommate would harass the staff as well to NO end and they handled everything with MUCH more grace than I would have. Being new to Colorado and navigating this experience was scary and I'm not sure how I would have made it through without their prompt attention, empathy, and flexibility. I appreciate this team and the work they do to make Kallisto a great community. Definitely recommend if you're looking to live in the area!

We just moved in a couple of weeks ago and it is beautiful! The paint job is modern. White trim, nice gray colored walls. The flooring matches perfectly. The carpet was BRAND-NEW when we moved in. You could smell it. These are older apartments but they’re gorgeous. The community is wonderful. I haven’t met one mean person living here. I haven’t even swam in the pool yet but it is heated and open. Along with the hot tub. This is unheard of to have a heated pool in the winter and not have an outrageous monthly rent. There is also a second pool (closed) and a grilling area. There are so many wonderful and huge trees on the grounds. Maintenance will arrive on time and the day of your call to the office. They are the most courteous maintenance folk that I have ever met. I fully recommend Kallisto at Bear Creek.

We were at kallisto for an initial look see. The staff is professional and courtesy and allowed me to look at their 2 bed apartment. They have 16 different floor plans everything from a 1 bed to 3 bed townhouses sitting on roughly 32 acres. the amenities are through the roof. What was not listed or maybe i didn't see it listed as an amenities but is immensely comforting, for as far as I could see going down Kipling parkway and morrison was a gate and it's entry was off Morrison. I've looked at alot of their videos on YouTube of their apartments and alot of them look like they've been updated and renovated. It really is a show stopper.

We stayed in two different apartments here. Great location and amenities with reasonable prices. Maintenance was always responsive and courteous. Leasing office staff was friendly, reasonable, and helpful. Although the buildings are older, the apartments have been renovated and are very nice. Bear Creek trail is gorgeous, and this complex was very hassle-free and welcoming. Only complaint: one time, the package system went offline, so they placed the packages in the leasing office. One of our packages was stolen when that happened. When we talked with the leasing office about it, they took responsibility and worked with us to ensure that it never happened again. If you’re looking for a complex in this area, 100% would recommend giving Kallisto a look!

Love the location and wilI be happy when Bear Creek trail reopens in December. I wish the residents were more courteous though i.e., dog waste pick up, recycling as it affects everyone here!

We’re coming up on the end of our year lease and have really enjoyed this complex. We’ve loved all the grass and the green is a refreshing change which takes away the concrete feel that usually accompanies an apartment complex. The location to Bear Creek Lake trail has been our favorite part, especially with a doggo. It can be stressful to choose an apt because you never really know what the experience will be like, but this is a good bet. I’ve felt safe the whole time - the worst I’ve seen is some 12 year old graffitiing a breaker box and hearing fireworks set off on the trail random days late at night. For us, no vehicle break in issues that seem to be plaguing all of Denver now. You might have some of the standard administrative bs as with any large complex owned by a huge company (billing, etc), but the staff is very friendly and really cares to make sure everything is resolved. We have appreciated them so much! Our apartments are very quiet. We’re downstairs and only hear the very loud thumps and bangs. The dog park is pretty meh and needs some work, but it’s nice they have something and the community that uses it is respectful and usually very friendly. One of our favorite parts has been the community- everyone is friendly and says hi. All in all, I’d recommend this place again and we’d stay if our commutes weren’t across town!

Maintenance- If you are a tenant here, only request Ali! They are the only one on the maintenance team who comes into your home with respect and professionalism. They came promptly while on call, offered us options on how we could handle the leak and then fixed the issue immediately. They were kind, personable and actually seemed to care about their job. They deserve support from the maintenance supervisor and the management team here, as they are the only one who has done decent maintenance work during the year and half that we’ve lived here.

I live in one of the town homes, and have loved the year I’ve lived here. The gym is pretty stacked from what I’ve seen of others snd the equipment is in good shape. The pool is dope and the hot tub is always a fun spot to be. Directly behind the complex is a beautiful trail with a river that goes all the way to Denver. If you’re looking for a quiet place with beautiful scenery this place has been all of that for me.

Late review, but the the repair folk and utilities employees are lovely. Isaac in particular gives absolutely stellar service--he replaced my garbage disposal when it leaked quickly, which is what I asked for. Then he also updated the clocks on my appliances, tightened my kitchen sink faucet handles, and put out some ice salt in front of my door. Overall well maintained, comfortable apartments! My only warning is to make sure your car tags are updated because whooo! Those will get towed!

I contacted the office because our dryer wasn't drying clothes in 1 or even 2 cycles and was crazy noisey. My hubs (a DIYer) cleaned out the hose to the wall. It was packed with lint. They had a company clean out the line from the roof and Isaac came to assess the noise. Some part was bad and he was right back with the part from another dryer. He was so friendly and courteous, that I didn't feel bad complaining about a noisey dryer lol

When we came back from vacation we found out our dryer wasn't working due to a faulty heating element. We put in a work order and hoped for the best, luckily Isaac was able to help us out the next day by replacing the entire heating element. Isaac was professional and courteous, going above and beyond by not only replacing the faulty part, but he also noticed one of the knobs was cracked and the dryer door was loose which he took care of as well. We are thankful for such a responsive and attentive maintenance staff!

I’ve lived here 3 1/2 years and enjoy it. The management, headed by Christina, is friendly and helpful. Indoor maintenance, provided mostly by Isaac, has been uniformly professional, effective, efficient and polite. A big plus here is their maintenance department. As a result, appliances, which are good quality, work well. The views from my 3rd floor unit include foothills. The neighbors are nice and it’s been fun seeing dogs on walks with their owners, and cats who sit in windowsills. My experience with a 2-bedroom unit in this building is that it is well- constructed and generally soundproof. I particularly enjoy the brightness, airiness and spaciousness of this unit and nice extras like light switch dimmers, hall light switches in two locations, 2 windowed doors to the balcony, a convenient storage room and a nearby garage. The spacious grounds and multiple amenities are attractive and well-maintained. One of the nicest aspects here is that it abuts Bear Creek green belt and trail. The wide sidewalk and parallel trail continue for miles with views of the foothills, creek, golf course and attractive neighborhoods, all within a short walk from the door.

Since being here we have enjoyed being so close to Bear Creek Lake, trails, and golf courses. The complex has a beautiful fitness center, which before COVID was open 24/7. Since COVID, many amenities have limited hours that mimic hours of operation. If you have a pet this is the perfect complex to accommodate your furry friend. My favorite thing about Kallisto is the quickness and willingness of the maintenance team to act quick on repairs and replacement of any items we have had troubles with in our unit. Coming from another nearby apartment complex in years past that this was not their strong suit was frustrating and Kallisto has done a great job in this area and it is great to see as these are the types of things that keep us paying rent year after year. My biggest complaint is around Kallisto's COVID protocols. I understand that some things are out of their control due to city and state regulations. For example, all of the amenities that are included in our rent payment were shut down at the beginning of COVID and continue to have restrictions on days, hours, etc. and after calling several times to see if we as residents would be getting a refund or credits towards future months for not being allowed to use the amenities the answer remains a NO. This is frustrating when several of the surrounding apartment complexes have given back to their tenants some sort of an amount for the inconvenience as they are paying for things they cannot use or have restrictions on. Also with the amenities, things such as the gym remain to only be open on certain days of the week and also at restricted hours which in return means most working people are unable to use the facilities as they are not open until 10am and close at 5pm. When you are told by the front desk that this is due to COVID restrictions that is just incorrect as nowhere does it say an apartment gym, etc. has to be closed at 5pm. This seems like a big corporate issue and not that of the front office as they don't make the rules, but something that needs fixed. If it is a staffing issue, you can find cheap help that can open and close facilities past the 10am-5pm window as for the working person the amenities still feel "closed."

The manager Christie actually asked me what things the prior companies did that I liked and didn't. I would recommend you give them a try. They are very family and pet oriented with a year round pool, basketball an tennis courts and a dog park.

My boyfriend and I moved in last October. I toured the apartments with Krystal, and fell in love with a two-bed one-bath layout, with vaulted ceilings, facing the mountains. She showed me an apartment that was already rented out, so we never actually saw our specific unit until our move-in day, but she reassured me that the unit she showed me was identical to the unit we were signing for, down to the mountain view. And of course, our apartment was exactly as expected. They were open and willing to work with us with our PODS delivery, despite it taking up an additional parking spot for a few days. The parking situation for our building is perfect. There are always open spots and we have great neighbors who actually know how to park within the lines. From day one we noticed that our neighbors were friendly, and most seemed to be older adults without young children, so the grounds around us are kept clean and quiet. I think some of the other buildings have more limited parking however, so this isn't the case everywhere. I feel like the cleaning between tenants here fell a bit short. Our bathroom smelled like cat pee from day one. I scrubbed everything top to bottom with bleach, multiple times, but the smell persisted. The bathtub also had a strong sulfuric smell. When we took the drain apart, we found a number of small glass decorative beads (that were not ours) just under the drain stopper, telling us that the cleaning crew didn't bother to clean the drain at all. The fan above the stove on the microwave, had particulate all over it - and when I turned it on the first time, it blew all over the kitchen. Just another thing that needed to be cleaned. After saying this on an internal survey, the apartments reached out and offered additional cleaning to us. Instead, we took action into our own hands, though I appreciated their concern and attempt to make things right. I assumed they still had the same cleaning crew, and obviously they don't do a very good job the first time, so I didn't really trust them to clean my home now. After a couple months of consistent cleaning, the smell finally went away. The office staff has been pretty friendly to us, especially Krystal, though she has since left for another apartment complex. The complex has an online portal that you can pay your rent on and request maintenance through. Maintenance has always been prompt - they've replaced our old thermostat with a digital one same day, and replaced our water heater from around 8-11pm one night after it started leaking. As far as paying rent, we've had nothing but good luck, and we even split payments on two separate accounts; its always accurate and up to date. It makes paying rent with multiple accounts super easy.

We absolutely love it here, family friendly with parks and restaurants across the street. The high school and k-8 is within walking distance. The Manager Amanda is the best as well as the staff they go well above and beyond to accommodate. Worth it

BEST PLACE EVER! No exaggeration. I currently live here with my 1 year old daughter. There's so much to do and so much to see :) I definitely love the 24 hour fitness center that I even cancelled my gym membership, it's that great! The property is well maintained and the facilities are always clean. I've had to put in a work order for my door and the turnaround time was very speedy! The pools? They're always clean and the best part is one of them is open year round. I love that there's a community garden and that me and my baby can go on a bike ride at bear creek trail which has an entrance located within the community. Go in for a tour and meet the exceptional staff that are so kind! Feel free to bring your dogs too and they'll get a lot of love <3

I’ve had a great experience at this place. Been here for about 7 months and plan to sign another lease. All the front office staff is great, very helpful and caring. Special shout out to Alicia who helped me sign my first lease here and continues to be a great asset. The area is beautiful, nice view of the foothills. Bear Creek trail is right behind the complex, perfect and clean trail for biking, running, or dog walking. The complex itself is well maintained, the landscaping is really nice. I haven’t had any major issues with noise here. It’s a nice community with families and lots of dog owners who seem to be pretty good about cleaning up after their dogs, with some exceptions. I can’t say much about parking, I pay for a covered spot, didn’t want to pay for a garage. There seems to be adequate parking when I have guests come. The gym was just redone and is really nice. They just opened a package room so you can safely get your packages anytime. Maintenance is good, all of my requests have been taken care of. The company that this complex is part of (Holland Residential) has some pretty terrible apartments in the area, I was pleasantly surprised at the difference between the place I came from and here. It was definitely a one star experience in Greenwood Village.

Have lived here for a little over a year and this is by far one of my favorite apartment complexes I have lived in. This community is beautiful it and it backs right up to Bear Creek Trail which is amazing for long walks with my little one and my dog. The maintenance here is amazing and have fixed any of my issues in a timely manner. Definitely happy and dont plan on going anywhere for awhile.

I lived at the village at bear creek for 1.5 years! Loved it! Great staff and an amazing place. The fact that the bear creek trail goes through the property is also an amazing feature. Highly recommend living here!

By far the best apartment community I have rented with. I have been a resident for about six months so I moved in fairly shortly after the community started under new management and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone in the leasing office is so friendly, helpful, compassionate, and fast to address any potential issues. Maintenance responds to requests very quickly, even when they are minor, and completes repairs very efficiently. Even with some of the recent upgrades being performed to the community, the projects are all very well organized and we are given plenty of time to prepare so there has been minimal interruption. I also love how pet friendly this community is, I see several sweet dogs that are not accepted at a lot of apartments walking around every day. I'm also very impressed with how clean the property is, especially considering all of the pets. There are plenty of stations to clean up after pets and I regularly see pet disposal services come through to clean up anything missed. The community is very beautiful, the apartment itself is incredible, and I am so happy with the neighborhood.

I've lived in a few apartments, though this is our first in greater Denver. In terms of management I'm overall happy. The mgmt company has changed twice in the past year, but the transitions have been mostly smooth. Positives: Connected to Bear Creek trail system Dog park, two pools with hot tubs, gym, and tennis court on property Wood burning fireplace in our unit There are garbage cans and dog poo bag dispensers around the property. Community garden for those with a green thumb The office will accept packages for you Decent parking around our building Covered parking for a low monthly rate Negatives: Small kitchen in our 2/2 unit. Cabinets are acceptable if limited, but there are only two small drawers in the kitchen. Neither is big enough to be a silverware drawer. It's been difficult getting package delivery notices. For a while they would email, then there was no system. It's not perfect, but I heard there's a plan for a 24 hour package pickup option. At least USPS leaves a note in your mailbox. There have been car thefts in the parking lots. Lock up and don't one valuables in view. I have seen more of a security presence in the last few months, so that's good. The website for submitting maintenance tickets is a little outdated. You can't read or edit your requests after they've been submitted. Also there's been little follow-up after work is done. Limit of two pets, plus some dog breed restrictions that appear to be loosely enforced. I would prefer that there were no breed restrictions. There is monthly pet rent charged for each pet. I'm used to a one-time pet fee, whether refundable or not.

I had moved into building 2603 which turned out to be quite noisey for me. So I let the office know that was not going to work with my disability and they were quick to help remedy the situation. They offered to move me to a more appropriate part of the complex and I must say I can't be more grateful. I was previously living in a complex where I made a lot of noise complaints but they ignored me for a year and a half. Not Village at Bear Creek they put their hands up and understood my situation proving to be caring people, not just people doing their jobs but going above and beyond. Overall I love the complex and its still very close to almost everything you could need.

Pros: I just moved in yesterday from Georgia.....they earned four stars because Alecia in the office worked her butt off to get me into the apartment. I would recommend a raise just because of how nice and down to earth she is. There is almost EVERY issue wrong with my credit but she made it happen without me ever feeling like she was giving up on me and I didn't have to pay an entire month for a security deposit. The entire office staff is ridiculously nice. The amenities are also great. Walking trail, very nice size gym compared to other places, 2 pools, tennis court, basketball court, etc. It's quiet and I kind of love my balcony. I've also been in and out and have been able to get a parking spot near my apartment, but I'm also looking to try and get into the car port so I can be closer and ready for winter. Cons....for the amount of rent we pay, I think that the complex should include SOME utilities. I had to get gas and electric in my name (which Excel says averages $98/month) and if I'm understanding correctly, I will receive an extra amount on top of my rent for things like water. It would be nice to not have to pay SOMETHING or lowering the rent by $150-200/month to be competitive with other complexes nearby. Just an idea. Also, there are A LOT of dogs so random piles of dog feces are around. Not a lot but definitely enough to notice. I don't have a dog so I'm probably not as forgiving as other people on this subject. If anything changes, I will update my review. I do not write reviews for any company that asks so this is an honest review.

Wonderful experience so far! Moved from out of state and didn't have a chance to visit in person before the move and Krystal was very helpful in answering any questions I had, sent descriptive pictures, and even recommended a unit right near the gym, pool, and entrance to the Bear Creek Trail. The whole staff has been very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Had a leak under the sink and maintenance addressed it the same day. The complex is also very well maintained and I can see the mountains from my bedroom! Very family and pet friendly vibe, absolutely love it. UPDATE 08/04/2018 This place was awesome at first, but has been bought out 2-3 times in 2 years and rent has gone up $200 while nothing has really changed. Our appliances were old and the oven no longer worked unless we broiled to heat it up. The pilot light for heating would get blown out whenever the wind blew hard. The roofers left rusty nails all over our porch and throughout the complex that you had to watch out for, concrete drilling started at 7:30 one morning, and they painted the apartments again (hospital white) and I spoke with an elderly tenant who said he had no warning and paint supplies all over his porch. Renovations are nice but it felt like there was no consideration for the tenants currently living there. Pay for a car port ($15/mo) one per apartment (hope you're not a couple with two cars!) or make sure you're off work early because there's not enough parking. If you're desperate to not walk far be ready for a notice stickered, yes stickered to your window. I will say that the staff was helpful and pleasant and the maintenance guy was on it but by the end of two years we couldn't get out fast enough.

Pets are also welcome and the location is wonderful! Please keep in mind this is a smoking community and is the reason why we signed our lease!

The apartment complex refused to work with us and let us out of our lease penalty free (despite us moving to a complex in TN under the same management company) which was understandable. They let us know they don't like to sub-lease apartments but because of our situation, they will allow us to sub-lease to help us out. So that is the road we are taking. // The complex has an online portal that you can pay your rent on and request maintenance through. Maintenance has always been prompt - they've replaced our old thermostat with a digital one same day, and replaced our water heater from around 8-11pm one night after it started leaking. We live in the "newer" buildings of the complex, and while our appliances are still older, they at least look nicer. // Edit: As rent rises in the metro area, this place needs to do some serious updating. I can't see paying much more money for such outdated fixtures. This current apartment layout we have is listed on the market for $200-350 more than what we pay now, and there have been no updates since we moved in, it is all from market increase. For the cost of these apartments, you can definitely get a nicer, more updated place elsewhere. //

My husband and I moved here from Wisconsin last fall, and were treated to gorgeous yellow leaves, and when the leaves fell, the view of the mountains and the afternoon sunshine were fabulous. The welcoming treatment of our 11 year old labradoodle was phenomenal. The management at the office were always so friendly and accommodating. We have bought a house now and are moving out, but this was a fantastic landing spot for us. The proximity to the Bear Creek bike path was great for biking to work, long walks with the pooch, and running. I always felt safe. The kitchen appliances are older and the woodwork a bit shabby, but it has been helpful to clarify what is super-important to us as we looked for our new home. Our only complaint was that we are not smokers, and this complex is smoker-friendly. But if you are a smoker or don't mind the scent, you can be quite happy here. The spring snow melt from the mountains has made the Bear Creek wide and full, and we can hear the rushing water from our apartment- fantastic access to nature!

I have been here for 5 years now and if I need a new appliance and or repair they are right here. I am a little worried now that there are new owners hopefully they will keep the standard of living up. I have never had a bug problem and I live on the first floor, if there was a problem I know they would take care of it right away. I will update on the new owners.

Moving in was a breeze thanks to crystal and becca. Crystal showed us the property and was incredibly helpful answering all of our questions and concerns. Becca made our move in day comfortable and easy. These apartments are beautiful, quiet and cozy with stunning mountain views and the amenities are wonderful. The community is great for anyone. From young to old. The village at bear creek knows how to make a house a home. Comming home has never been so welcoming.
